Title: Senior Hardware Design Engineer Reports to: Project manager and Director Based at: MetaSensing BV, Noordwijk, Netherlands. Possible relocation in Malaga, Spain or Italy Job purpose: Lead the development of integrated radar systems Job description: Metasensing is looking for a Senior Hardware Design engineer to lead the development of RF, analog and high speed digital printed circuit board designs for advanced radar systems, from concept to prototyping and manufacture. The ideal candidate is a self-motivated engineer who wants to take on the challenge of designing and building the hardware platforms for the new series of highly integrated, high resolution and low cost radar sensors. Job Duties: - All aspects of the product management/development cycle, including definition, implementation, management and release to manufacturing of boards and systems. - Understanding and capturing product requirements - Work directly with RF and FPGA Design Engineers for Schematic capture, PCB layout, component selection - Designing Digital, Analog and RF multi-layer printed circuit boards. - Lab measurements and prototype debugging. Essential Skills and Experience - Master degree in electronics engineering. - A minimum of 8 years of experience in schematic capture and PCB layout for analog,digital and RF circuits - Experience with hardware bring-up and validation - Experience in lab debug for hardware/software issues - Analog Front End (ADC's, DAC's, Filters, LO, Frequency Synthesizers, Mixers) - Design with high speed DDR SDRAM memory interfaces Desirable Skills and Experience - Design with Ethernet phy interfaces - Design with Xilinx FPGA - Signal Integrity Analysis for high speed differential links - Power Integrity Analysis, EMC Analysis, Thermal Analysis, - FPGA logic design using System Verilog Company Description: MetaSensing BV is a Dutch SME which provides advanced radar solutions. Employment Duration: The employment has a standard duration of two years with possibility of extension. The starting date will be agreed with the candidate, however an early start is desirable.
