Functietitel: Rebate Coordinator

Functieomschrijving:

The Rebate Coordinator is responsible to update accurate commission and rebate sales agreements, maintain and monitor customer / agent commission amounts and ensures customer / agent commission payouts are properly documented and approved. In addition it is the responsibility of the Rebate Coordinator to ensure accuracy and integrity of all accounting transactions. This role requires good communication with the European Middle East Africa India Business Finance Organization as well as Senior Management for approvals of agent / commission payments. This role is part of the Customer Invoicing and Settlement Services Department BPSC team responsible for all Billing, Accounts Receivable, Rebates and Commission and Sales Accounting Support handling in Europe Middle East Africa and India. Indicative Activities - As self-directed team member provide 1st level support to other team members. - Timely and accurate creation of agreements in a new software tool called Vistex - Keep documentation/procedures actual for the area of responsibility - Communication with internal Business Partners - Record retention - Understanding of Internal Controls - Some travel might be included

Job Expectations: - Knowledge of SAP Order to Cash applications which includes Order Entry, Material Flow, Billing and Accounts Receivable - High level knowledge of customer master. - Support Audit requirements: e.g.: Tax-Audits, Internal and External Audits - Maintain and monitor commission agreements with their amounts - Ensure accurate payouts with approvals - Ensure proper documentation and back-up documentation to support pay-out process. - Ensure accuracy and integrity of all resulting accounting transactions - Keep documentation/procedures actual for the area of responsibility - Correctly applying VAT guidelines Education MBO 3-4 in Finance and/or Economics or equivalent Experience Minimum of 2 years previous work experience in finance department or customer service Other Qualifications: - Fluency in English (written & oral) - Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office Desktop applications - Experience in SAP R3 - Strong interpersonal skills - Strong analytical skills - Works independently, is self-motivated and accountable - Ability to work towards tight deadlines - Customer service mindset - Excellent planning & organization skills
