System Engineer About Liteq Applications like Mobile, Cloud and Internet of Things drive electronic devices to be smaller, thinner, cheaper, with lower power consumption and latency, and a higher bandwidth. The packaging of microchips has a profound contribution to those characteristics. Liteq is a company dedicated to lithography solutions for Advanced Packaging of microchips to further enable the mentioned applications. Our solution is based on a high productivity stepper with high flexibility for the user in order to support multiple packaging platforms with optimal cost of ownership. About the context It’s Liteq’s philosophy to design a system focusing on core competences and acquiring standard state of the art solutions where possible. This leads to low cost and high flexibility in the design, and also allows for a small core team to work on the system further reducing the cost. The system is designed to have minimal maintenance resulting in maximum availability of the tool for the customer to run its production. Liteq will design and build a Lithography stepper for the Advanced Packaging market. The Advanced Packaging is a step in the sequence to build semiconductors. This technology will become a mainstream production technology in order to increase chip performance. The strategy within Liteq is to create and own the complete design of the system. This will be done in cooperation with the wide range of suppliers. In order to manage this process Liteq wants to build her own expertise in various engineering disciplines to manage the design and build of the system. Some of the specific technology competences will be concentrated in the own resources of Liteq. One of these competencies is System engineering. About your mission  Support in defining the system set-up and system qualification test procedures.  Help to build, assemble and qualify Prototypes.  Specify supplied components and work closely with suppliers to come to a optimized total system.  Work closely together with the system architect to materialize system concepts.  Ensuring that the system is up and running and performing well and that information will be logged.  Is able to operate and adjust and optimize the system. Work closely with the application engineer to tune the tool to optimally serve the application.  Support beta customers in the field. System Engineer About your role  Take ownership of the litho tool, keep the tool up and running and in a good shape.  Keep track of the performance of the tool and provide clear information on improvements to stakeholders (suppliers, engineers, system architect, application engineer, etc.).  Take ownership of the qualification procedures and test tools for qualifying the equipment.  Support the application engineer to generate sales collateral and proof-data.  Creating and maintaining documentation. About you  MSc Physics / Mechanical Engineering / Software or Electrical Engineering  >5 years in a High Tech environment (preferably lithographic steppers systems) and tool testing experience  Good communicative skills  Analytical  Team player  Self-starter  Diplomatic Attitude with a strong backbone  Driven in architecture without losing sight of business proposition
