Responsibilities: As System Architect you are responsible for: ¿Execution control: become the best in designing user centric innovations and realizing user needs within time, cost, and quality constrains in a medical regulated environment; ¿Competence engagement: become world-class in the of area of digital connected systems & services, systems engineering, IoT eco-systems, architectures and platforms; ¿Continuous Improvement: support the quality and process improvement program in your group enabling a lean and efficient way of working for the whole department; ¿Business development: support engagements with business partners inside and outside Philips for Systems Engineering and maintain/build a cross-functional network to grow our service offering; ¿Technical seniority: become a leading system architect and drive the product development process in collaboration with the other Software department groups cloud engineering, connectivity engineering, mobile engineering, integration & verification and other disciplines like electronics and mechatronics; Technical requirements: We are looking for someone with a¿ ¿Masters degree in SW Engineering, Informatics, or equivalent; ¿Minimum of 10 years of relevant work experience in (networked) product development as system designer or architect; ¿Proven track record in development methodologies like Agile/Scrum/V-Model; ¿Set of strong technical skills in system design preferably complemented with adjacent software development competences (e.g. mobile applications, cloud hosting, data mining, IoT services, security, medical devices); ¿A passion for and a deep understanding of connected products, in particular complex eco-systems, digital, Software as a Service, and connectivity solutions; This role will appeal to you if you¿ ¿Enjoy working in cross-functional teams; ¿Are curious, open and feel at home in an international environment; ¿Have an affinity with innovative development projects and feel comfortable with relatively vague requirements; Soft skills: ¿Excellent communication skills (fluent in English, preferably also in Dutch); ¿A team player, eager to invest in personal and team growth, curious; ¿Strong analytical, conceptual and creative thinking skills.
