USG ENGINEERING in cooperation with PHILIPS is searching for you! You will be part of the Software department at Philips Innovation Services that is located on the High Tech Campus in Eindhoven (the Netherlands). The department has over 140 highly skilled people today, with a need to grow to well over 200 resources in 2016. It delivers world class engineering in the domains of connectivity engineering, mobile engineering, cloud engineering, systems engineering, and integration & verification. Together with a team in Bangalore (~120 resources) we form the engineering organization of Connected Digital Propositions. We support exploratory work with fast realization of prototypes and practice highly effective product development techniques to deliver the key propositions to the market. We have profound engineering knowledge of the most relevant coding platforms and standards, in combination with proven Agile collaboration methods and test-driven development. For the Oral Healthcare (OHC) business group of Philips we are developing a new generation connected toothbrush comprising of ¿Bluetooth Low Energy connected Sonicare toothbrush equipped with sophisticated sensors ¿iOS and Android apps ¿Connection and storage of data in the Philips cloud (HSDP) ¿Data analytics and insights generation This product is being developed according Safe (Scaled Agile Framework) and complies with medical device regulations in EU and US. The engineers working on this project are located in Eindhoven, Seattle, and Bangalore. The system to be tested is a HTML5/Javascript based web application running in Internet Explorer on top of a Salesforce cloud. It offers a Clinical User Interface for population management and patient care based on measurements and survey responses. You will be working in a medical regulatory context. Technical requirements: ¿Up to 3 years of experience in a test role; ¿Experience with translating requirements in SMART test cases (eg Gherkin language), executing these tests, discussing issues with the development teams and making reports; ¿Experience with exploratory testing; ¿Familiar with working in an iterative/incremental agile/Scrum environment; ¿ISTQB or comparable certification; ¿We are not looking for someone who only wants to do the coordination and/or definition of the tests. He/she shall also be willing to execute the tests; ¿We clearly are not seeking a tester who will do the automation of test, but testers who are experienced in defining good test cases. Senior positions are filled, we are looking for two medior testers; ¿ Soft skills: ¿Excellent communication skills (fluent in English, preferably also in Dutch); ¿A team player, eager to invest in personal and team growth, curious; ¿Strong analytical, conceptual and creative thinking skills.
