You are responsible for design and build of production tools, equipment and machinery. Supporting the maintenance organization in analyzing, solving and preventive actions on malfunctions. The Senior Mechanical Engineer ensures that the production lines run with the right balance between cost and stability. As Senior Mechanical Engineer you analyze mechanical systems, suggest changes for improvement and build equipment with prior experience and knowledge. It is an all-round function and requires global understanding of all the main engineering elements: design, component manufacturing, hydraulics, pneumatics and 3D modelling. Furthermore it is appreciated if you have a basic understanding of electrical and measurement systems as well as industrial automation.

Mechanical engineer with 5+ years of industry experienceFactory/manufacturing/production experience is desirable

Experienced in production equipments/machinery design and deploymentExperienced in static as well as rotating machine design

Proficient with codes and standards (e.g., CE marking)
Hands-on mentality
Keen on physics, data analysis and reporting
Motivated candidate, analytical skills, and fast learning ability
The candidate will be working in a multidisciplinary team, where his/her task would to be to robustly design/develop and integrate the hardware/machines for the production lines.
Potential to act as a system integrator from the hardware side.
Communication skills: Complex concepts into simple and clear message.
Excellent command of English. Basic in Dutch, benificial.
