Title: RF and Radar System Test Engineer Reports to: Project manager and Director Based at: MetaSensing BV, Noordwijk ZH, The Netherlands. Job purpose: Sub-systems testing and radar sensor assembly verification and validation Job duties: Lead the RF test efforts for current, developmental and future radars  Test the RF sub-systems in conjunction with radar digital back-end (AWG/ADC cards)  Generate test plans, verification procedures, developing and adapting analysis tools in Matlab  Support the installation and checkout of radar mission data and test scenarios  Requirement analysis, data analysis and compliance verification  Radar system integration and test in the lab and in operational scenarios  Documentation of the results in a test report Required skills and qualifications:  Master degree in telecommunication engineering  Strong knowledge of RF and microwave engineering  Lab experience using diagnostic equipment e.g. spectrum analyser, oscilloscope, network analyser, frequency synthesiser  Capability of handling test HW (power supply, wiring, multimeter)  Good knowledge of basic radar digital signal processing techniques  Programming experience in MATLAB  Ability to think logically and to decompose a problem into its component parts for troubleshooting  Good knowledge of the English language for the working environment  Good communication and team-working skills  Willingness to travel Desired skills  3+ years of experience in the field  Basic understanding of radar system principles  Experience in radar systems test environments, and in development of test scripts  Experience with design and test of RF systems  Knowledge of antenna fundamentals and operation (design would be an asset)  Data visualization/data analysis for logged data (Matlab) experience Employment duration: The employment has a standard duration of two years with possibility of extension. The starting date will be agreed with the candidate, early starting date is desired.
