s our Quality Engineer, you will be part of the Quality Assurance department within the R&D division. Reporting to the Quality Lead, you will be assigned to projects with your core responsibility being to uphold the quality of the products released by Ultimaker.



As part of your duties, you will develop validation and verification methods within (sub) systems. You will conduct analyses and report the results to the Quality Lead and other engineers on the project. You will create test scenarios, test plans, and test cases that will be run by quality testers.



As your main responsibility, you will:

Support the validation activities by setting up and running alpha and beta tests with users, providing support to alpha and beta testers during the execution of the test, analyzing and reporting results
Design and develop methods and tools for verification of the system based on technical requirements
Analyze the acquired data and present it to the project engineers, facilitating the development of the system by identifying risks and areas where improvement is needed
Set up and perform QA tasks in the project team such as configuration control, document reviews, and FMEA
Assist the Quality Lead in the organization of activities by estimating workload and the resources needed
Contribute to the establishment of the test automation strategy by designing, developing, and executing the automation test scripts in a project
