As an optician / eye care specialist you're a specialist and consultant. You always provide the best service in the whole process of selling eyeglasses, sunglasses, contact lenses and related products. This involves doing an extensive intake and performing refractions. On this basis you will advise clients on frame shapes, frame colours, kinds of lenses and types of contact lenses. Furthermore you perform simple horn measurements (screenings) and sell hearing aid accessories. By asking the right questions you ensure that every customer leaves the store with a product that perfectly suits his/her needs. Who are you? • You are in the possession of the diploma optician / eye care specialist. • You are motivated to develop professionally by attending courses and trainings in the field of optics, audio, lenses and possibly management. • You have excellent communication skills; you can listen to both customers and colleagues and you are open to feedback. • You have a service mind-set; customer satisfaction and customer loyalty are paramount to you. • You have no problem working on weekends and evening sales.
