We are looking for a Maintenance Engineer for our client based in Sas van Gent. This will be a full-time permanent position!

Role Purpose:
The purpose of the position is to ensure the availability of the installation and to meet the cost targets while at any time ensuring our Goal Zero target

Area of responsibility:
•    Ensure and drive a high HSE-performance in all activities
•    Responsible for the short and long term availability of the installation
•    Develop and implement a risk-based maintenance plan for his area based on the Maintenance
•    Equipment Strategies
•    Responsible for End of Life cases and to inform the Production Manager regarding License to
Operate
•    Responsible for the execution of the legal inspections for all disciplines as defined by the
•    inspection plan (e.g. electrical, instrumental and mechanical)
•    Responsible to act on and correct deficiencies reported during these inspections
•    Lead and ensure prioritisation by using the Risk Based Work Selection process to define the
"scope and priorities" together with the Plant OPEX Team, taking into account HSE, Quality,
Reliability and Cost
•    Responsible to give input and manage the approved maintenance budget for his area
•    Accountable for the spare parts process/cost in daily maintenance and to review the needed spare
•    parts scope in Turnaround and Shut Down. Final decision on quantity to be purchased is the
•    responsibility of the MRP controller
•    Provide technical support to planners, supervisors and technicians in case of technical issues
•    Lead PA&T related investigations and ensure that appropriate actions are taken to reduce losses in the future
•    Drive proactively Root Cause Failure Analysis
•    Participate as maintenance / discipline engineer in projects and TCO studies
•    Lead or contribute to smaller improvement PA&T programs and projects
•    Seek continuously for long-term maintenance costs reductions for the installation
