Your job responsibilities include: •Calculating the work that has to be performed, including: the erection of steel structures, the use of mechanical and electrical parts and the use of pneumatic and hydraulic components. This will be done during the installation process according to drawing packages, lifting plans and parts list •Assessing the building and erection work that has to be performed •Examining the foundations in which the columns have to be placed •Checking the exact materials are present and in the correct condition •Monitoring the progress of the work and reporting back on this on a weekly basis •Consulting with the relevant people and communicating regarding any defects or problems •Advising clients and contractors regarding the installation method, execution, quality, progress, use of tools, lifting equipment and safe assembly during installation •Assuring the correct installation and quality of the installed system is adhered to, based on drawing packages and checklists •Assisting the test and commissioning engineer in the inspection of construction accuracy and safety during the assembly of attractions, as well as commissioning these. Basic qualifications: •An MBO thinking and working level •Experience with installation of steel structures and machinery •Experience with E-HYDRO is a plus •Good leadership skills (directing a team of 10-25 mechanics) You are required to: •Feel comfortable with working at a height •Have no fear of flying •Be comfortable with spending most of the year abroad •Easily adapt to local habits and cultures •Be precise •Be structured •Be determined to solve problems •Be resourceful
