Als hoofdverpleegkundige sterilisatie stel je de werkverdeling en de personeelsplanning op, past deze aan in functie van de behoeften van de dienst om te voorzien in de continuïteit van de dienstverlening; springt operationeel in/bij waar nodig. Daarnaast stuur en motiveer je je medewerkers door het maken van duidelijke afspraken (via het procedureboek) en het uitzetten van praktische richtlijnen.
Op de dienst sterilisatie organiseer en controleer je alle stappen van het sterilisatieproces, je verzekert een tijdige en correcte sterilisatie. Je staat in voor het materiaal: bestelt materiaal, vraagt herstellingen aan en volgt bestellingen/herstellingen op. Je bent mede verantwoordelijk voor het beheer en de besteding van het toegewezen budget van de eenheid (zowel investering als exploitatie) en werkt daarnaast, in samenwerking met het Comité voor Hygiëne, procedures uit voor het beheer en de behandeling van de materiaalsets. Je overlegt op regelmatige basis met het diensthoofd OK en de apotheek.
,Je bent een gegradueerd/bachelor verpleegkunde aangevuld met een licentie/master of een kaderopleiding/ BNB zorgmanagement.
Je genoot een basisopleiding 'Medewerker sterilisatie + verdiepingsopleiding Sterilisatie'.
Je hebt kennis van de werking binnen het OK.
Je kan motiveren, sturen en overtuigen maar ook coachen. Doet dit concreet maar ook met het nodige tact en voldoende diplomatie.
Je bent vaardig in plannen en organiseren.
Je hebt kennis van de gangbare richtlijnen, normen en wetgeving betreffende sterilisatie.
Je kan kwaliteitsindicatoren opstellen, meten en analyseren.
Je kan normen en wetten vertalen naar praktische procedures en richtlijnen.
Je hebt kennis van normen en wetten betreffende alle aspecten van de dienst sterilisatie.
Je hebt kennis van kwaliteit, gebruik en onderhoud van het te steriliseren materiaal.
