In this job you must harvest red currant under foil pavilions at a height of about 1.8 m.
fruits hang at a height from 0.50 m to 1.8 m
Red currants are collected to boxes of 5 kg
full boxes are brought to the end of the row
the work is in a standing position outside.Weather conditions can be different, from (30 C) to cold and wet days (15 C)
Employer demands high motivation and willingness to deliver good work is required.
Because of the job activities good physical condition. Work experience is not required.
Knowledge of the English language is not required
Norm production is required, the amount of collected kg is recorded from each collector.
Harvesting above the norm, employees additionally receive a bonus.
Work begins from mid-July to the beginning of August, contract 3 to 4 weeks.The working period is dependent on weather conditions, the amount of fruit to collect and the number of employees
Working hours from 6.45am. to 5p.m, with a break at 9.30 am. - 15 min, 12.30 - 30 minutes and 3pm. -15 min, in total 9 hours of work per day
On Saturdays working day 5 hours, so in total 50 hours a week is worked.Sunday is free from work
You have to take your own work clothes (rain boots and raincoat) Employer provides the accommodation which is located within the company. These are rental housing with dimensions of 6 x 3 and 6x 2.4 meters, they are equipped with 2 or 3 beds with a fridge, table and chairs and a cooking plate. Housing look neat and is rented only for the working season. Sanitary sewers (showers, toilets) are also on the premises of the company. The housing and sanitary constructions are well cared for. These units stand on a paved surface, so everything stays neat and clean. Also there is a canteen for employees with an area of 30 m2. Employee should bring your own bedding. Housing cost € 70,00 per week inclusive (electricity, gas, water) Health insurance  costs €22,40 net per week.-    the salary is according to the Dutch (CAO), payment per hour gross € 9,82.
