You have at least 3 years of working experience as an equipment installer at other provider of fixed wireless internet. You have working experience with fixed wireless technology, including installation skills and experience in installation of basis stations, access points and subscriber modules, knowledge of radio waves, frequencies, types of connections, types of problems in the area of fixed wireless technology and possible solutions. You are capable to analyze enquiries of the clients and prepare installations from a to z, build and maintain a network (including software and hardware) and answer subscribers questions. You are able to drill a hole, fix a bracket on the building, stretch and attach a twisted pair cable (telecom color-coded wire) outside and inside the building, correctly press and connect a twisted pair cable with RJ45 connectors. You are able to safely operate various pieces of equipment and hand tools. You have knowledge of installing, configuring and maintaining Wi-Fi routers and other network hardware (switch) of different producers (CISCO, Zyxel, D-link, Mikrotik etc.) within and outside (i.e. configuring various electronic components to a Wi-Fi network) the network. You have working experience in planning, configuring and installing new hubs in the network, troubleshooting on the network. You have working experience in testing and updating software in the equipment in the network and are prepared to contact producers to fix problems. Furthermore, you are able to demonstrate knowledge of the computer operating systems Windows and Linux for servers (to install, to configure IP-addresses etc.) and have basic understanding of relevant terms, such as routing, addressing in a peer-to-peer network, IP-address, subnet, gateway etc.
