For our client we are looking for a Data Migration Lead to join the a project organisation. The project aims to implement uniform business processes, enterprise-wide data models and state-of-the-art software information systems within our client. This is essential in order to further improve the performance of the company, and as such, more business units are currently going live with these new systems. In order to prepare these business units for life within the new IT landscape, certain data must be migrated from existing ERP/PLM systems to the applications. This includes CAD data and documents in line with new conventions, and transactions (for example, orders, agreements and stock). Master data also needs to be prepared (for example, customers and suppliers). We are looking for a Data Migration Lead to organise all these activities within a single business unit. In a matrix organisation, you will report to the Team Leader of the Data Migration team and the Project Manager of the rollout team. In addition, you will coordinate all tasks that relate to the transfer of data to the new systems. As Data Migration Lead, you will also be responsible for the following:

Advising the Project Manager about the migration strategy
Initiating and creating a project plan for the migration
Organising and managing data mapping sessions
Monitoring and reporting the progress of data migration activities
Recording all data-related agreements
Following up on assigned tasks to the relevant stakeholders in the organisation
Working in close cooperation with all data preparation team leaders, as well as other Data Migration Leads and Data Migration Specialists
Communicating proactively with all internal customers to ensure that they are receiving the best possible service.
