Ensures an engaged, innovative, and inspiring working environment in the department by motivating, challenging, and coaching the group¿s employees; ¿Continuous improvement of the group. Formulates and implements longer term vision/direction/strategy: steering the group to add maximum value to the business in the future; ¿Execution control of the group. You will be co-responsible for achieving operational plans and ensures the optimal allocation of personnel to the projects; ¿Competence development of the group. Develop and maintain a long term view on the required competences and define the best technological roadmap for a specific technology or product; ¿Customer development. Establishes a network with relevant players, and actively using this network to obtain input on technological developments, identifying trends and opportunities; Technical requirements. We are looking for someone with a¿ ¿Masters degree in SW Engineering, Informatics or equivalent; ¿Minimum of 5 years of relevant work experience in (networked) product development as a team/group lead; ¿Proven track record in development methodologies like Agile/Scrum/V-Model; ¿Passion for and a deep understanding of connected products and standards, in particular large eco-systems and cloud based solutions; ¿Set of strong technical skills in HTML5, JS, CSS, web performance optimizations and other relevant front-end technologies; This role will appeal to you if you¿ ¿Enjoy working in cross-functional teams; ¿Are curious, open and feel at home in an international environment; ¿Have an affinity with innovative development projects and feel comfortable with relatively vague requirements; ¿ Soft skills. ¿Excellent communication skills (fluent in English, preferably also in Dutch); ¿Strong analytical, conceptual and creative thinking skills.
