Application Specialist About Liteq Applications like Mobile, Cloud and Internet of Things drive electronic devices to be smaller, thinner, cheaper, with lower power consumption and latency, and a higher bandwidth. The packaging of microchips has a profound contribution to those characteristics. Liteq is a company dedicated to lithography solutions for Advanced Packaging of microchips to further enable the mentioned applications. Our solution is based on a high productivity stepper with high flexibility for the user in order to support multiple packaging platforms with optimal cost of ownership. About the context It’s Liteq’s philosophy to design a system focusing on core competences and acquiring standard state of the art solutions where possible. This leads to low cost and high flexibility in the design, and also allows for a small core team to work on the system further reducing the cost. The system is designed to have minimal maintenance resulting in maximum availability of the tool for the customer to run its production. Liteq will design and build a Lithography stepper for the Advanced Packaging market. The Advanced Packaging is a step in the sequence to build semiconductors. This technology will become a mainstream production technology in order to increase chip performance. The strategy within Liteq is to create and own the complete design of the system. This will be done in cooperation with the wide range of suppliers. In order to manage this process Liteq wants to build her own expertise in various engineering disciplines to manage the design and build of the system. Some of the specific technology competences will be concentrated in the own resources of Liteq. One of these competencies is Lithography application. About your mission As an application specialist, you:  Understand the IC back-end processing environment at customers and build the imaging, lithography and resist competences for Liteq.  Create and managing the wafer processing to support the development team, to qualify the system and to create collateral material.  Define imaging qualification test procedures.  Attract customers by performing convincing demo’s.  Support of beta customers in the field. Application Specialist About your role  Wafer process development: defining and implementing a standard Liteq resist process, including setting up a process lab.  Take ownership of imaging qualification procedures by ensuring test tools and equipment availability. Coordination between development and sales about type of test and specification  Expose wafers and report back to development on measured results. Provide clear information on improvements to development  Document results; imaging and metrology.  Support sales to generate sales collateral and proof-data.  Creating and maintaining documentation. About you  MSc Physics / Chemical engineering  >5 years in a lithography environment (preferably projection systems)  Extensive experience with resist processes (thick resist processes are regarded a pro)  Experienced to work with various fab tools (o.a. SEM, metrology tools, etc.)  Preferable also experience in the IC back-end processes  Good communicative skills  Analytical  Team player  Self-starter
